Environmental Friendly School Essentials
We are now dedicated to being engaged in the production of sustainable school supplies that are made from recycled materials, including notebooks, textbooks and exercise books using the letterpress printing process. These products protect the environment and save the planet through sustainable, zero-waste, high-quality, cruelty-free products that are made in Ethiopia.
This is our new initiative that is currently building up. As there are currently no recycled paper suppliers in Ethiopia, we are working on recycling the paper ourselves and using the paper to produce eco-friendly exercise books. This also creates many job opportunities for waste paper collectors and recycling workshop staff.
You are invited to support this exciting initiative by donating to the cause, which is one of the solutions to save the planet. The donations will be used to collect waste paper and turn it to usable high-quality products that are designed to last.
Benefits of Paper Recycling
The environmental benefits of paper recycling are many. Paper recycling:
- Reduces greenhouse gas emissions that can contribute to climate change by avoiding methane emissions and reducing energy required for a number of paper products.
- Reduces the number of trees cut every year for paper production.
- Saves considerable landfill space.
- Reduces energy and water consumption.
- Decreases the need for disposal (i.e., landfill or incineration which decreases the amount of CO2 produced).
